The Palinator steps down

Governor Palin announced today that she will be resigning at the end of July.

Getting ready for a run at the White House in 2012? I'd say let her run for congress first, and get about 10 years of real-world political experience under her belt. Then let's talk White House, once she has a track record in national and international politics.

Interesting development, though.

I hope she gets a better PR team. McCain didn't lose the election because of his platform.

If she quits the job she was elected to, so that she can start prepping for the 'next' job (whatever that is), she has betrayed the people who elected her to do the first job. She has demonstrated that she will put her interests before her constituents. She should never be elected to anything again.

Which means, of course, she will be the Republican Party's face for the next three years at least.
